March saw us back in to the swing of things after being away for so long. Homeschooling was back to 5 days a week and we started having people over again to catch up with over meals and coffee.
Easter was early and it was a great time relaxing and catching up with friends in between church services.
A few birthday parties for the girls to attend and lots of playing in the rain as the wet season finally decided to put in an appearance and thankfully cool things down a bit.
As is typical for us I hardly have any photos of the above events as most of the pics are just of the kids being kids. I hope you enjoy them anyway.
The previous month Ariya had lost another tooth but this month is was Marisah’s turn, this time her very first one. (two in two days)
With the wet season eventually living up to its name we were once again inundated with frogs. Jacob was fascinated and after asking him a dozen times he eventually puckered up and gave one of them a kiss much to the girls disgust!
This is Jessica. She helps me out with homeschooling and the kids love her to bits. (We all do!)
The love Jessica teaching them way more then their Daddy because I do all the boring clean subjects like math, reading and writing while Jessica does the messy subjects like art and science!
On occasions they even do some cooking.
Making sounds from different house hold items.
Art and craft is their favourite time of the school day.
Here is what a boring lesson with Dad looks like!
Jacob has a fascination with any type of computer or phone (what kid doesn’t!) Here he is keeping a close eye on Ariya taking an online math challenge.
He gets the giggles when she makes a mistake.
He is actually pretty good at handling the iPad. Here he is playing traffic rush.
Jacobs personality is really starting to show and Cheekiness is at the top of the list. Playing dress ups while being cheeky is also popular. Here he is discovering sunglasses for I think the first time.
If at first you don’t succeed….
…. try and try….
…. and try again!
This little Kingfisher crashed into our window one day and the girls were very happy to cuddle it back to full health.
After three months away Jacobs eating habits had deteriorated quite badly so during the month of March, operation “eat healthy and happy” swung into action. I am happy to report that it has for the most part been very successful.
Dressed up ready for a friends birthday party.
Jacob loves trying to sneak into the girls bed at night time for a few stories before it is lights out.
