September and October 2013

With the hot weather fully settling in (temps over 40 degrees) it was time to once again retreat inside to the air conditioning and start getting excited by our upcoming trip to cooler climates!

Being inside meant an amazing lack of photos were taken so I have combined two months into one and even then I was scrapping the bottom of the barrel trying to find some decent pics to share with you.

Ariya had her 8th birthday during this time which I will do a separate blog about next. I will also blog about a great helicopter trip to Lake Argyle that I took the girls on. Apart from those two upcoming entries I am basically up to date with memock.com (thank fully) and am looking forward to blogging about our up coming three months on the road in ‘real time’

As the girls have got older Seerung is spending more time in the Kitchen with them. I think it is great and so do the kids!

Poor quality photo sorry but I snapped this on my phone when out shopping with them.

Hot weather means more indoor time and more playing dress ups!

My niece celebrated her 12th birthday with a 'messy' party. Eating from troughs and messy flour games were the order of the day.

Jacob continued his love affair with drinking babychinnos. He even 'helps' Mum make them!

I promised Marisah when she turned six we would walk to the top of Kelly's Knob in Kununurra just like I did with Ariya. Here she is celebrating being on top of the world! A few weeks afterwards I managed to convince Seerung that we should all go as a family. Lugging Jacob up that hill was hard work but well worth it.

Something a little different. I dropped in to visit my mate Darren and could see him out on the river on the boat. They saw me and came in to pick me up. It was lovely being out on the water as the sun set. Here he is doing a bit of bare footing.
